Committee looks into Abbottabad riots

The DCO Abbottabad told the Senate's Standing Committee on Interior on Saturday that four people were killed during protests against the renaming of NWFP.
He said two of the protestors died from electric shock while uprooting an advertising hoarding. DCO Zaheer-ul-Islam denied reports about the loss of nine lives in clashes between the protestors and the police.
Earlier, ANP leader Haji Adeel told the committee that the provincial government has set up a judicial commission to investigate the killings.
