Flexing muscle: ‘PTI’s tsunami cannot be stopped’

MULTAN:

“Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) tsunami will bring a fresh start for Pakistan on Independence Day and the long march will not be delayed at any cost,” PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday.

He was talking to newsmen at a press conference in Multan at Zakariyah Complex.

He said the government would be responsible if there was a security crisis.

He said in Bannu, the total living capacity with the current population was one million citizens.

He said there were over 900,000 IDPs from North Waziristan and the federal government should ensure that they were housed and fed.

He said even before the long march was planned, millions of supporters had reached out to the PTI leadership to show their solidarity.

He said the government was misleading the people by giving conflicting statements on economic progress. He said a recent report by the IMF had refuted the tall claims made by the finance minister.

He said the government had planned to take away subsidies from farmers and they would be allocated to the development of the industrial sector.  He said in three years, Pakistan would have to import agricultural products and farmers would be squeezed out due to the poor economic planning of the government.

He said if any attempts were made to arrest Imran Khan, the public would not remain silent spectators.
