Machka police on Friday raided Sadiqabad kachi abadi and recovered an abducted person.
Police said Kaleemullah, a resident Kot Chatta, had been abducted from Sindh a few days ago. The man was found chained in a room. A police team raided the area and recovered the man after receiving orders from Sadiqabad Superintendent Shabbir Saithar.
In a separate incident, police said a man wanted for multiple offences was apprehended. Muhammad Lateef, a member of the Laar gang confessed to committing several crimes. City DSP Riaz Hussain said that further raids were being carried out to arrest other members of the gang.
