Car conundrum: Parking plaza to be built in Jinnah Super
CDA Chairman says authority has allocated sufficient funds for construction of multi-storey parking plaza.
ISLAMABAD:
Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal has said that the authority has allocated sufficient funds during the current financial year for the construction of a multi-storey parking plaza to resolve parking issues in Jinnah Super Market. The construction work on the parking plaza would soon be initiated soon, he said while chairing a meeting at CDA headquarters on Thursday. The meeting was informed that a tender for construction of the parking plaza has been floated and will open on July 25. The construction work on the project would commence after the completion of necessary formalities. The chairman said the authority has focused on development activities in the current fiscal year, adding that a major chunk of the budget has been allocated for construction and development activities.
