A woman died and her daughter-in-law was injured on Sunday after a minaret of a mosque collapsed and fell on a house in Chak 54-JB, Dhudian, Nishatabad police said.
They said the 100-foot minaret, which was built a few years ago, collapsed during a windstorm in the city on Sunday morning.
Musarrat Bibi and her daughter-in-law Samina were buried under the debris of the roof of their house.
