Family Feud: Man shot dead, another injured

GUJAR KHAN: A young man was killed and another injured on Saturday in two separate incidents. In the first case, a 19-year-old boy was gunned down over a family feud in Darayala village. According to preliminary investigation, the victim, identified as Munir, was allegedly shot dead by Ghazanfar Ali. The deceased had a clash with Ali over a monetary dispute, police stated. Meanwhile, another man was stabbed and injured over a minor issue. Police said Waqas Asif was attacked by two armed assailants when he was walking home. The deceased and injured were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for legal formalities and later, Munir’s body was handed over to his family. Asif was stated to be in stable condition. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws and investigations are under way.
