Khyber-Pakhtunkwa’s provincial capital received its first spell of monsoon rain on Wednesday night, providing much-needed respite from the scorching heat. The temperature dropped from the sizzling 43 degrees Centigrade registered at noon, prior to the rain, which the meteorological office predicts will last till the 6th of this month.
