KARACHI:

To deal with increased traffic during Ramazan, the city administration has requested boy scouts to be deployed at some specific areas of the city.

“The traffic police have come up with a contingency plan involving the Sindh Boy Scouts Association. Scouts would be deployed in certain areas, especially where development projects are in progress, such as the Malir flyovers,” said Karachi commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui. “In addition to volunteers from the scouts association, an added number of city wardens are also going to be deployed.”
