Our officials from the highest level have been regularly communicating and coordinating in regards to our shared objectives in the region. These meetings allow us to address any shared concerns and build on our improving relationship. We are going through a very crucial phase in regards to stabilizing the region, and it is simply imperative for our nations to work closely for the betterment of the region. It is also important to keep in mind that the terrorists on both sides of the border would love to see our nations stay apart for the sake of gaining advantage. We must not let any false theories undermine the importance of joint cooperation between our nations. We greatly value each other’s assistance and hope to maintain a healthy working relationship for the sake of achieving our shared peace objectives in the region.

This is one crucial meeting after OBL raid between the two countries and a sign of joint cooperation. Pakistan's role after US troops pull out in Afghanistan will be more important else Iraq's example is in front of everyone now. So its very important for all the three stakeholders Pak,US and Afghan to be on the same page else everyone will face the consequences especially Afghanistan and Pak.
These are meetings at the very highest levels. Given its dubious electoral mandate, the civilian leadership is too weak and distracted to care if it is informed of what is being discussed and agreed. Electoral reform and electronic voting machines are essential if the people's representative are to be empowered and this banana republic paradigm is going to change for Jinnah's Pakistan..
Meeting the pay masters for the next set of instructions?
