Curbing crime: Eight arrested for theft

DSP said the police had also arrested Mohsin and Imran and recovered a stolen car from them.

BAHAWALPUR: The police claimed to have arrested eight people on Wednesday for various crimes. City DSP Riaz Hussain Bukhari told a press conference that the police arrested five members of Ibrahim Niaz gang and recovered six cars and a motorbike from them. The DSP said the gang stole cars from various parts of the city. He said Muhammad Azeem, who stole animals from farms, was arrested and livestock worth Rs350,000 were recovered. He said the police had also arrested Mohsin and Imran and recovered a stolen car from them.
