Two girls critically injured in ferris wheel accident at Sialkot fair

Fair organisers were allegedly absent, poor management, lack of security reported at event

Two young girls were seriously injured after falling from a Ferris wheel at a fair in the Kotli Loharan, an area of Sialkot. A video of the girls falling from the ride has become popular on social media.

The injured children were rushed to THQ Hospital in critical condition. However, after the incident, fair organisers were reportedly absent, and poor management and lack of security at the event put the girls’ lives at risk.

Residents expressed anger and grief, questioning why substandard and unsafe rides were allowed.

One resident called for strict action against the authorities responsible for granting permission for the fair.
