The Punjab Highway Police helped 1,343 commuters stranded on the highways last week.
The police rounded up six suspects and recovered 600kg of unhygienic meat and a stolen motorcycle. The PHP stopped a van on the highway and seized 600kg of unhygienic meat.
Abdul Rasheed, a citizen, had informed the Punjab Highway Police that unidentified persons had snatched his motorcycle.

The criminals managed to get away. The PHP also recovered 24g heroin, 30g hashish, one litre liquor and a 0.30 bore pistol and five bullets from various suspects.
The Punjab Highway Police also reunited three missing children to their families and handed over a four year-old child to Gujranwala Edhi Centre.
