Heinous crime: Two children assaulted

FAISALABAD: Two children were assaulted in Faisalabad on Saturday.

A police spokesman said a six-year-old daughter of a gypsy was playing outside her hut in Kamranwala when she a teenage boy took her away and attacked her.

He fled when she screamed for help. The girl was taken to Jaranwala tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital for treatment. A spokesman said police would form a team to investigate the matter after the girl’s medical report became available.

Separately, a seven-year-old boy was abducted by a neighbour and assaulted at his house.

The man fled when the boy shouted for help and people began gathering around the house.

Saddar Jaranwala police said a complaint had been registered on the complaint of the boy’s father.
