MQM chief addresses workers after release
MQM chief's bail is valid until July, said police.

Addressing the party leaders and workers after being granted bail, MQM chief Altaf Hussain thanked all the politician, party workers and public for supporting and praying for him.
“I am thankful to Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef, Former President Pervaiz Musharraf, Dr Tahir ul Qadri, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Asfand Yar and everyone who prayed for me, and took part in peaceful sit-ins,” said Altaf Hussain.
He also thanked the MET police for treating him very respectfully.
While talking to his workers from MQM international secretariat London in a telephonic address, Hussain said that, “I am a British citizen and I believe in British legal system”. He added that he has arranged for a lawyer and would fight his battle through legal means.
The MQM chief also thanked the Pakistan military and paramilitary forces. “If we get the government we will remove the word ‘minority’ from the constitution. Revolution will come, corrupt system will vanish,” said Altaf Hussain.
MQM leader also paid homage to reporters, editors, camera men and all media persons for highlighting his case.
Meanwhile, MET police has not shared the details regarding Altaf Hussain’s bail. The bail is valid until July, said police.
