IED blasts in Bajaur leave two security officials dead

ISLAMABAD/ BAJAUR AGENCY: Two security officials were killed and another injured in IED blasts in Bajaur Agency on Saturday.

The injured official was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The military confirmed the death toll in a statement: "Two soldiers embraced shahadat (martyrdom) in Bajaur today in two different improvised explosive device blasts."

The devices were planted along the road side in Bara Kamangara area and near a Pakistani post on Pak-Afghan border, the military said in its statement.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.

Best to restart talks again. Just in the last 3 days, the militants have caused some serious damage to security personnel.
