Guns for all: Arms licences to be provided to religious, political leaders
Sindh CM says govt would also provide compensation to families of victims whose breadwinners have been killed.

The Sindh government has decided to provide security and arms licences to all religious and political leaders for their protection.
The decision was made at a meeting between Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and a delegation of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) at CM House on Tuesday. During the meeting, the chief minister also formed a five-member committee, headed by commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, to address the complaints of the MWM.
Referring to the complaints presented by MWM leader Syed Ali Hussain Naqvi, the chief minister said that the provincial government was prioritising the improvement of the law and order situation and has launched a targeted operation against criminals and terrorists. He directed the Sindh Police IG and additional IG to enhance security and curb sectarian violence and to also provide better security to all places of worship.
