Armed dispute: Six people killed, three injured in tribal clash

According to the villagers five people were also kidnapped by armed persons.

At least six people were killed while three others injured and five were kidnapped in a tribal clash near Piryaloi.



Some armed men had attacked and gunned down Shujauddin Ansari, a local Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former union council nazim in Piryaloi town near Khairpur.


To seek revenge for his murder, some men allegedly belonging to the Ansari tribe attacked a date farm near Dewani Odho village. As a result, Muhammad Urs Odho, Ghulam Mustafa Odho, Muhammad Ishaq Odho, Sajjad Ali Osdho and Inam Ulro were killed in the attack and Ghulam Ali Ulro, Ayaz and Waheed Ahmed Ulro were injured.


According to the villagers five people were also kidnapped by armed persons. Meanwhile, Khairpur SSP Usman Ghani Siddiqui also spoke to the media later. He said that a large number of police were deployed in the area and further investigation was also underway.
