Speed: Bus overturns in Quetta; 3 dead
Identity of the four injured could not be ascertained, say police spokesman.
QUETTA:
At least three persons died and 22 others, including women and children, sustained injuries when a local passenger bus overturned on the National Highway near Hazar Ganji area of Quetta on Sunday. According to the police spokesman, the bodies and the injured were rushed to civil hospital where the deceased have been identified as Shair Muhammad, Abdul Wali and Zahoor Ahmad. The injured were identified as Hafeezullah, Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Ramzan, Mazoor Ahmad, Sajad, Aziz Ahmad, Muhammad Irar, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Soail, Muhammad Shafi, Wali Muhammad Amanullah, Abdul Aziz, women Baag Windi, Chand Kumari, Nadia, Lal Bibi and Amina Bibi. Identity of the four injured could not be ascertained, said the police spokesman. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. Police have registered a case, he said.
