Disease prevention: LGH dengue website gets heavy traffic
The number of visitors to a website launched by the Lahore General Hospital has reached 67,800.

The number of visitors to a website launched by the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) administration to inform the public about dengue fever has reached 67,800. Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Anjum Habib Vohra said the website helped citizens learn about preventive measures to be taken. He said in view of the success of this website, the LGH administration was planning to launch web pages on more seasonal diseases. He said the LGH was playing its role in fighting dengue fever. He said the hospital administration had maintained liaison with its former dengue fever patients to prevent complications. He stressed the need for cleanliness and emphasised citizens’ role in combating diseases including dengue fever.
