Explosion: House targeted in Jamrud

Fortunately, no human loss was reported.

JAMRUD: The main gate of a house was destroyed when an explosive device planted by unidentified militants in front of the gate exploded on Thursday night in Shahkas area of Jamrud, Khyber Agency. An official of the political administration said the bomb was planted near the residence of Moeen Khan Khatya Khel during the night when everyone was asleep. He said the main gate was destroyed as a result of the explosion while the boundary wall of the house was also damaged. Fortunately, no human loss was reported. The official added the sound of the blast was heard far away.
