Accused arrested: Five-year-old boy allegedly raped
The accused left the boy in a semi-conscious state and escaped.
ABBOTTABAD:
A child was allegedly raped in Mangal village, police officials said on Friday. Police quoted Sohrab saying his five-year-old son, Samiullah*, was going to school when Zahid, son of Arif, of the same village lured him into a house and allegedly raped him. The accused left the boy in a semi-conscious state and escaped. Residents later took the boy to a hospital where doctors confirmed he had been raped, said the police. After the boy’s medical examination, police registered a criminal case against the accused under section 377 and 355 of the Pakistan Penal Code and arrested him.
