Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Finance Minister Sirajul Haq said on Friday that the government is trying to allocate most of the funds for the development, Radio Pakistan reported.

Addressing a one day pre-budget consultation workshop in Peshawar on Friday, Siraj said that equal funds will be distributed among all districts with a focus on backward areas.
The federal budget is expected to be announced next week, with provincial budgets expected to follow suit later on in June.
