Politics of victimisation
When questioned about the recent non-bailable warrants issued for the arrest of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and former federal minister Makhdoom Amin Faheem over their alleged involvement in the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) scandal, Shah expressed sorrow and disappointment.
"The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government should stop the victimisation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)."
He further said that the PPP will have to look for other ways if the PML-N does not stop this victimisation.
"Democracy does not work on the basis of revenge," he added.
