Mosquito horrors: Dengue patient admitted to hospital
Bakhsh told journalists that he had not received free medication at the hospital despite the chief minister’s promise

The first dengue case of the year was confirmed at the district headquarter hospital on Friday. Qadir Bakhsh, a resident of Umer Sandaila, was diagnosed with dengue and admitted to the hospital. Bakhsh had recently arrived in DG Khan from Saudi Arabia via Karachi. Doctors said his blood tests had confirmed that he was suffering from dengue. Bakhsh told journalists that he had not received free medication at the hospital despite the chief minister’s promise that dengue patients would be treated for free. Medical Superintendent Dr Moosa Kaleem said the hospital was well stocked with medicines for dengue patients and the patient’s claim was false.
