Balochistan killings: Six of a family shot dead near Turbat
A schoolteacher is among the deceased.

Six members of the same family, including a schoolteacher, were shot dead on Wednesday morning in the Chot area of Dasht, 40 kilometres off Turbat.
They were identified as Abdul Hameed Baloch, his two nephews Naveed Lal Mohammed, Naseer Lal Mohammed, Rahim Baksh, Riaz and Mohammed Asif. Autopsy reports revealed that the victims were shot in the head and chest which resulted in instant deaths.

“Armed men barged into the house of Abdul Hameed Baloch and opened indiscriminate fire on him and his relatives sleeping in different rooms,” Naib Tehsildar of Balochistan Levies Noor Khan told The Express Tribune.
According to Levies officials, the incident took place in the wee hours of the morning. “The victims were from the same family and had no enmity with anyone,” Khan added, quoting the brother of the slain teacher. The assailants escaped the crime scene unchallenged.
