2 Rangers personnel shot dead in Kandhkot

KANDHKOT: Unidentified men on a motorbike gunned down two Rangers personnel in Kandhkot, Express News reported on Wednesday.

The victims, identified as Abbas and Farooq, died on the spot.

The incident took place when the personnel were on their routine patrol. The assailants managed to get away after shooting the personnel dead.

@RKM: There is real pressure on the Rangers, from the politicians for targeting militant wings, from the families of these militants, from the TTP and lastly from all other criminal elements in Karachi. Add to this unrealistic HRCP reports maligning their reputation and you get an idea of how tough their job is. It's easy to criticise than to appreciate their efforts.
