FIA arrests former federal minister

Habib Ullah Warraich is arrested for involvement in National Insurance Company Limited scandal.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has put the cuffs on former Federal Minister Habib Ullah Warraich  for his alleged involvement in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scandal.

The agency’s anti-corruption cell has taken the former minister into custody. Moreover, it has prepared another arrest warrant for his son, Mohsin Warraich, the co-accused.

Habibullah has been charged for selling 800 kanals to the NICL on inflated rates. Both father and son have been accused of making kickbacks.

At the moment, FIA has frozen Warraich’s assets worth Rs1.2 billion.

I am wondering how can a retired Major amass billion of rupees .. that tells us that about these politician who come into politics just for the sake of get rich through corrupt practices without having a single sense of patriotism .. they just think its time so loot as much they could .. unfortunate we are doomed .. we must get rid of these politicians.. give chance to new faces .. I think we need people like Imran Khan .. give him support thats the only chance we have.. God Bless us ....
