BAHAWALPUR: A man killed his father-in-law on Sunday after his wife refused to come back home with him. Police said Muhammad Javed married Muhammad Akhtar’s daughter a few months ago. They said the couple had an argument last month and she went to her father’s house. Police said Javed wanted reconciliation but his wife did not return to him. They said Akhtar was standing at a bus stand on Saturday night when Javed, riding a motorbike, shot him and rode away. Akhtar died on the spot. Police have registered a case against Javed.
