LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Hanjarwal SHO on Wednesday on a petition by a woman seeking the registration of a case against her brother whom she accuses of fraudulently obtaining her signature to deprive her of property.

Salma Abdul Aziz said she lived in a five-marla house in Marghazar Society. She said her father owned the property but her brother Saleem had fraudulently obtained her signatures on some documents claiming that he wanted to install an electricity meter.

She said she signed the documents at the time but later found out that her brother had used her signatures to transfer the property over to himself. She said that she had approached the police but the SHO had refused to register a case against her brother.
