ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) held a meeting with Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) officials to discuss the sector’s issues in order to provide relief to consumers. The negotiations took place on the directives of Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, said a press release issued by the APCNGA. The SNGPL officials were informed that since masses, traders and industrialists had been using gas generators, the CNG sector should also be compensated so that masses could get fuel during loadshedding. APCNGA Chairman Ghiyas Paracha said that pressure in gas pipelines has been increased in the summer but it is being kept low in some areas. He said that CNG stations should be allowed to work for eight hours daily instead of six.
