Turkish Cooperation: Muzaffargarh to have new hospital

The meeting discussed matters related to the inauguration of the hospital.

LAHORE: Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema said on Tuesday a modern hospital, being built in Muzaffargarh with the cooperation of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), would be inaugurated in the last week of June. He was presiding over a meeting to review progress on the project. He said quality materials were being used for the construction of hospital building and hostels. He said the TIKA Hospital would be equipped with modern medical facilities. “Apart from local doctors, the hospital will also have a team of Turkish doctors.”The meeting discussed matters related to the inauguration of the hospital. Adviser to Chief Minister on Health Khwaja Salman Rafiq, Special Assistant Khwaja Ahmad Hassaan, Additional Chief Secretary Aamir Sohail, the Planning and Development Board chairman, Secretary to Chief Minister Imdadullah Bosal and Health Secretary Ijaz Munir attended the meeting.
