Negligent teachers : Notices issued for shirking exam duty
Strict action will be taken against them under the PEEDA Act after a hearing, the spokesperson said.

The Education Department has issued show cause notices to 490 teachers, including 65 superintendents, on the charge of absence from examination duties in Faisalabad, a spokesperson for the department said on Sunday.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad had assigned examination duties to 314 superintendents, 331 deputy superintendents and 2,339 examiners for the annual matriculation examinations this year, but 65 superintendents, 66 deputy superintendents and 359 examiners had not performed their duties, he said. On the complaint of BISE authorities, the Education Department has issued show cause notices to these teachers. Strict action will be taken against them under the PEEDA Act after a hearing, the spokesperson said.
