Poor performance: Four SHOs served show-cause notices

Notices issued on directives of Assistant IGP (Operations) who reviewed performance of SHOs of various police stations

In-charges of four police stations of the federal capital have been served show-cause notices over their poor performance, a police spokesman said on Sunday.


The show-cause notices have been issued on the directives of Assistant Inspector General of Police (Operations) Sultan Azam Temuri who reviewed performance of station house officers of various police stations.

Those SHOs who were served show-cause notices include SHOs of Tanrol, Margallah, Loi Bher and Shehzad Mandi police stations.


The AIG (operations), meanwhile, announced awards for SHOs of Ramana, Bhara Kahu and Aabpara police stations after evaluating their performances.

Temuri said encouragement of policemen on the basis of their performance would be ensured and accountability system would be enhances further to monitor performance of police officials.

He said that the Islamabad Police force was committed to providing protection and security to the citizens.

Temuri said that policemen involved in corrupt practices would have to face strict disciplinary action.
