Three days after tying the knot: Newlywed couple found dead
Police say food poisoning is a possible explanation.

A newlywed couple was found dead on Monday, three days after they tied the knot in Gujranwala, police said. They said Anas, 22, and Ume Salma, 20, had dined with his family on Sunday. They said the family tried to wake them on Monday morning but they did not respond. The family finally broke in to the room to find them lying dead in the bed, police said. Shah Shams Station House Officer Akram Kamboh said, “Food poisoning is a possible explanation… we are waiting for the autopsy report.”
