JUI-F announces its withdrawal from government
Deadlock between JUI-F and PML-N making it difficult for party to remain in govt: JUI-F spokesperson

The Jamiat-i-Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has withdrawn from the federal government, a spokesperson for the party said on Friday.
The spokesperson added that despite being in a coalition government with the Pakistan Muslim League -- Nawaz (PML-N), JUI-F was not consulted when it came to policy decisions on peace talks with the Taliban, the controversial Protection of Pakistan Ordinance and the National Internal Security Policy.
He said that as long as the deadlock between the two parties persists, it would be difficult for JUI-F to remain in government.
JUI-F's two government ministers, Akram Khan Durrani and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi, have also tendered their resignations to the government.
