No loss of life: IED targets pro-govt militiamen

LANDI KOTAL: A roadside bomb exploded near the vehicle of a pro-government militia commander in Zakha Khel Bazaar of Landikotal, Khyber Agency on Monday. No loss of life was reported in the incident. Shahid Afridi, an official of the political administration, said the incident occurred in the morning as a local commander of Touheedul Islam, Gul Ghamay, along with two other people were on their way to Zakha Khel when the improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unidentified militants exploded near his vehicle. The official said khasadars rushed to the area and launched a search operation after the incident but no one was arrested.
