Shootout: Seven killed, three others injured over property dispute

Seven persons including a woman were killed and three others injured in Nasim Akbar Sheikhan area of Bannu in a shootout over a property dispute on Friday.
DSP headquarters Bannu Sanaullah Marwat said that Niaz Ali Shah a resident of Nasim Akbar Sheikhan had a dispute with his nephews over a land dispute, adding that on Friday evening a shootout emerged between both the groups.
Marwat said that as result of shootout Niaz Ali Shah, Roaidal Ali Shah, Yousaf Ali Shah, Amir Ali Shah and Sonia were killed from one side while Niaz’s nephew Farooq Shah and Shah Niaz Ali Shah were also killed during the firing.
He further said that three others Asad Ali Shah, Gul Jamal and Jamal were injured during the incident.
The DSP said that as the Sadar police were informed about the issue, they rushed to the area and cordoned off the spot of the incident.
He added that they took the bodies to the DHQ hospital Bannu for an autopsy, he mentioned that all the injured were critical and shifted to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
The FIR of the incident was not registered till filing this report.
