Road accident: 4 of the same family including 2 minors killed

MANSEHRA: Four of a family including two minor children were killed while ten others were injured when a Suzuki high roof plunged into a roadside ravine near Balakot here on Friday evening.

Six of the injured were reportedly in critical condition.

Police quoted witnesses as saying that a Suzuki high roof No Mansehra 6072, carrying over 14 people from the same family, was on the way to Mansehra from Balakot.

The police further quoted them as saying that when the high roof reached near village Kaflang Hangrai the driver lost control of the steering and the vehicle fell off the road into a deep gorge killing four on the spot while ten others all of them women and children sustained multiple injuries.

The rescue workers and police took the injured and deceased to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital from where the critically injured victims were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad.

The deceased were identified as Nazma Bibi, wife of Sultan, her one year old daughter Amna Bibi, van driver Muhammad Munir and Usama, one-year-old son of Faheem.
