LAHORE:

Senator Aitezaz Ahsan of the Pakistan Peoples Party said on Tuesday that former president General Pervez Musharraf had damaged the image of the military forces. He added that the Pakistan Army had no interest in his trial.

Ahsan was talking to the media at the district and sessions court after attending a meeting to discuss the Election Commission of Pakistan’s order to examine NA 124’s polling record. Ahsan said he did not see any chance at this point of Musharraf being allowed to go abroad. Discussing Bushra Aitzaz’s complaint regarding polling record of NA 124, he said they had held a meeting chaired by the Election Commissioner Mehboob Anwar to start an investigation from April 7.  He said the investigation would let the cat out of the bag. Bushra Aitzaz is seeking inspection of the record as she suspected rigging in her constituency.

Tudor | 9 years ago | Reply @sterry: Oh so putting up some art work at a chowk in defense is such a big deal that she needed a qualification certificate from her president father. She is an architect by profession for your information. And where is your proof for Bilal Musharraf's millions of dollars? He lives in an average apartment in Sam Francisco and work to earn money. What a blind eye towards facts and Such a shame!
