ISLAMABAD: The Capital Administration andDevelopment Division (CADD) on Monday announced that the model colleges would not offer admissions in evening shifts from the current academic session. CADD spokesman Rafique Tahir said no new admissions would take place in the evening shifts and the exiting ones would be phase out gradually. The decision has been taken in the light of the government’s vision of implementing a unified system of education in the country, the spokesman said. He said the students, who were already studying in the evening shifts, would be allowed to complete their education.  Tahir said the ministry was working on a plan to expand the capacity of model colleges and construct more colleges to benefit the maximum number of students.
