MULTAN: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday said the recent meeting between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q) will not affect ties with the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

Addressing the media in Multan, he said the government is taking all the political parties into confidence, on issues of national interest.

On the issue of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), Gilani said the government will take necessary action against the NRO beneficiaries, without any discrimination.

The prime minister assured that the rehabilitation of flood victims remains the top priority of the government.
