Sneak attack: Man receives acid burns

Kharlan resident's forehead, abdomen, legs and arms got severely burnt.

BAHAWALPUR: A man was seriously injured in an acid attack on Sunday. Muhammad Kamran Langah, a resident of Kharlan near Khairpur Tamewali, was standing in front of his house when Umar Farooq Araeen, an acquaintance, took him to a plot of land that he had just bought. There Araeen threw acid on Langah and fled. Langah’s forehead, abdomen, legs and arms got severely burnt. He was taken to Khairpur Tamewali Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and later referred to Bahawal Victoria Hospital.
