ISLAMABAD:
Former President (retd) General Pervez Musharraf’s mother, who has been in ill health for some time now, has been shifted from Dubai to Sharjah’s W. Wilson hospital after her condition suddenly worsened, Express News reported.

Musharraf had requested permission to visit his mother, Zahra Musharraf, in Dubai despite having to be in court on March 31, 2014 for a hearing - but this request had been dismissed.

Doctors have said there is no update on her health yet but she is in the ICU, and are yet to give an update of whether or not she will be treated in Sharjah or Dubai.

There is no confirmation as to which family member is taking care of her as Musharraf is in Islamabad facing a court hearing. He has been informed of his mother’s health and that she has been moved to the hospital in Sharjah.
