
Board of Investment Chairman Mifta Ismail on Wednesday said that the government is working to bring stability in the economy.
He said that all out efforts are being made to improve the energy sector and with the help of different countries several projects will be completed in the near future to achieve the objective.
While speaking to Pakistan Television (PTV), he said that China is investing a huge amount in the energy field to produce sufficient electricity for meeting domestic and commercial demand in Pakistan.
Ismail said that Arab and European countries are looking into this region to avail opportunities of investment in different sectors.
Ismail said that the government is taking initiatives to pay circular debt, reduce inflation, improve remittances, exports and foreign reserves, besides stabilising prices in the kitchen items.
He added that the rupee is moving towards stability due to business-friendly policies.
