Square is going to open the large manufacturing denim plant in Bangladesh.
@Nabeel Ever heard of "WOODLAND"????????
@the Skunk: Do you enjoy having a noose around your neck? What about polyester pants and shirts in the awful hot months of May-June? Sad that you have to wear uncomfortable clothes to work. To top it off you look down on those who wear comfortable clothes as if wearing uncomfortable clothes is some great feat to be proud of.
OH MY GOD! Seriously men? 5th place? That too in something which requires blue collar skill? Whats next? Biggest towel manufacturers of world? lol. Try something in I.T., Defense, Power, Mining, HR skills, etc. Maybe adapt an idea or two from your neighboring nation?
i am glad to work with asian fifth Denim unt... :)
Awesome.
I am working in one of the top denim manufacturer company and Sid. Sons is not top manufacturers in Karachi qty or quality. If its about qty, then for fabric & no. of garments shipping every month Artistic Fabric & Garments (AFM & AGI) are at the top right now followed by Soorty, Milliners, Rajby and DC. Sid. Sons has huge capacity but they are running under capacity from last so many years. Denim city is running at 50%-55% only.
@bb: Wearing scratchy, faded, and worn out jeans to office is ridiculous. Wearing shalwar kameez to office is even more ridiculous. Viva Siddiqsons! Salams
Big deal..huh?
No wonders, our class and quality in fabric manufacturing is unmatched. Here in KSA, Made in Pakistan clothes and shoes are more costlier and have more quality than the Indian and Bangladeshi brands.... Given that we have sufficient gas and electricity, we can reshape the entire clothing industry, at much cheaper costs for sure.
There is tough competition there with India producing about a billion meters of denim and Bangladesh stitching it. Pakistan does remarkably well with 500 million meters despite all the hurdles it faces in the form of infrastructure, security, etc.
Big news for Pakistan in the business world. Siddiqsons keep going.
Glad to hear it that Pakistan made it to top 5 in Asia Denim manufacturer
Really? I mean, Really, as a nation, you want to be proud of, that too at fifth place, of being recognized as a sweat shop for manufacturing jeans! Talk of clutching at the proverbial straws! The movers and shakers of jean fashion tell you what to stitch and how to stitch, and you are behind four other countries who can follow the instructions.
