Deepak says the e-store will cater to both local and international clients.
Fashion e-stores are increasingly becoming a favourite supplement to bricks-and-mortar stores in Pakistan. The most recent designer to jump on the e-tail bandwagon is Deepak Perwani.
Deepak, who has been a kingpin of the fashion industry, launched his e-store on Sunday, March 16. Speaking to The Express Tribune, Deepak shared, “Since the past three months, we were in the process of getting ready to go online.” “We are a progressive design house. [We’re keeping up] with the times we are living in.”
“There are people living in Chichawatni and Okara who want to wear our clothes, so going online was the right thing to do,” says Deepak, explaining the diversity of his clientele.
Deepak says the e-store will cater to both local and international clients. He acknowledges the growing presence of the virtual space and how things have become more professional due to it.
Without disclosing much about his new venture, Deepak claims, “It’s just the beginning. There are many more things to come.”
