Acid thrown on 5 men during Holi celebrations

The five men burnt with acid were taken to a nearby private hospital in Malir.

KARACHI: Five men were burnt with acid during Holi celebrations in the Hindu Para area of Model Colony in Karachi, Express News reported on Monday.

The suspect, a resident of Hindu Para, threw acid instead of coloured water on five unsuspecting young men during the celebrations and then escaped the scene of the incident. The police are looking for him.

The five men burnt with acid, Sanjay, Sumeet, Sunil, Govind and Kunal, were taken to a nearby private hospital in Malir. The extent of their injuries could not be determined as yet.
