Development work: KMC administrator goes over flyovers

KMC administrator takes notice of the delay in construction works and directs to expedite work.

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation administrator Rauf Akhtar Farooqui, while expressing annoyance over the slow pace of construction works of the Teen Hatti Flyover, issued directives for a change of project director and all other staff.


On a visit to the Teen Hatti Flyover along with engineering director general Niaz Ahmed Soomro, he took notice of the delay in construction works and directed to expedite work on this project.

He was informed that the ramp wall of this flyover track in Lasbela has been completed and filling work in underway.

Farooqui also went to the other three flyovers of Sharae Pakistan and gave instructions to carry out immediate renovation of the roads and pavements beneath and alongside the flyovers.

Visiting the Liaquatabad Dak Khana Flyover, the Karachi administrator was informed that the curbs beneath the flyover were being fixed and the construction of the road has also started after installation of a new water supply pipeline.
