Bomb defused in Orangi Town, Karachi

According to BDS, 2kg of explosive material was used in the bomb.

KARACHI: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a bomb in Orangi Town in Karachi, Express News reported on Friday.

The bomb was found in a box and was planted in MPR Colony which is located within the limits of Orangi Town.

According to BDS, two kilogrammes of explosive material was used in the bomb.

There were ball bearings in the box as well, the BDS officials said.

The BDS and the police reached the area and cordoned it off before clearing it.

So much for the ceasefire. Dawn had a nice editorial which basically said that if your going to negotiate a ceasefire with TTP they should provide a complete list of exactly which extremist groups they represent so that the govt actually knows how many of the 50+ groups of terrorist they represent.
