Court sentences man to death for shooting dead his gardner
His accomplices handed seven year sentences for trying to hide evidence and protect the culprit.

A district and sessions court sentenced a man to death while his three other accomplices were jailed for seven years in a murder case.
Arshad Noor Khan, the district and sessions judge in district east, awarded death sentence to Zulfiqar Ali Katchilo and imposed a fine of Rs1 million on him. In case of nonpayment, he would have to undergo an additional five-year imprisonment.
The court also handed down seven-year-imprisonment to Katchilo and his three accomplices, Herchand Manghwar, Ghaniso Menghwar and Abdul Rahim, under section 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The court also imposed a fine of Rs1 lac each in case of non-payment they would have to undergo an additional one-year imprisonment.
According to the prosecution, Katchilo had shot dead his gardener, Lal Buhsh, at his bungalow in Karachi and transported his body to Kot Ghulam Muhammad in connivance with the other accused.
